‘Khejri Se Kal’ Sustainability Initiative by Solar Industry

The “Khejri Se Kal” initiative, launched by the Rajasthan Solar Association (RSA) in collaboration with National Solar Energy Federation of India, aims to promote environmental conservation alongside renewable energy development in Rajasthan. Introduced during the 4th National Agro RE Summit, the campaign focuses on the preservation and plantation of the Khejri tree Rajasthan’s state tree through large-scale plantation drives, awareness campaigns, and sustainable agro-renewable energy models. The initiative reflects NSEFI’s commitment to ensuring that India’s clean energy transition progresses in harmony with ecological preservation and community participation. By integrating native afforestation with renewable energy projects, “Khejri Se Kal” supports climate-resilient agriculture, biodiversity conservation, and sustainable rural development.
