NSEFI Leads the Way in Rooftop Solar Awareness at Jammu Expo

#GharKeUparSolarIsSuper #JammuEdition; India is at the forefront of clean energy adoption, and to accelerate this transition and raise awareness among citizens, NSEFI initiated a Pan-India Energy Transition Awareness Program. This program aims to educate the general public, residential households, and local policymakers about the benefits of transitioning to clean energy.
Shri. Bhagwant Khuba, the Minister of State for New and Renewable Energy, officially launched the Pan-India Rooftop Solar Awareness Campaign named 'Ghar Ke Upar Solar is Super.' This campaign brings together key players in the energy sector, government organizations, think tanks, industry associations, and global institutions.
Under the Ghar Ke Upar Solar is Super project venture funded by the Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ)) under the aegis of cooperation between BSW - Bundesverband Solarwirtschaft e.V. and NSEFI - National Solar Energy Federation of India , #NSEFI and AHAsolar Technologies Ltd. organized a seven day Expo from 24 February'23 to 2 March'23. On “Acceleration of Rooftop Solar adoption in the city of Jammu”. #Jammua Energy Development Agency (#JAKEDA), the State Nodal Agency of Jammu also supported the event.
The Jammu Solar Expo offered valuable insights into the benefits and opportunities associated with solar energy. It emphasized the advantages of utilizing clean solar power for homes, including substantial savings in monthly electricity bills, minimal space requirements, and significant energy generation.
