NSEFI together with IRENA organised roundatable on 'Global Policy Makers' at CEM 14

On CEM14_MI8 side lines, NSEFI together with International Renewable Energy Agency (IRENA) , Indo-German Energy Forum (IGEF) & Global Solar Council organised roundtable on ‘Global Policy Makers Dialogue on Agri-Renewables’

In the event NSEFI and @indiaclimatecollaborative ICC soft launched India Agri-PV alliance under NSEFI umbrella.

The India Agri-PV Alliance(IAA) supported by ICC will act as a single point of contact for facilitating the discussions among various stakeholders involved while designing and advocating policies and bringing uniformity in the advocacy for Agri-PV in India. The India Agri-PV Alliance will also host a data repository that will act as a toolbox for State governments, policymakers, Solar energy developers, farmers, Financing institutions and communities to accelerate Agri-PV proliferation in India.

With its learnings from the multiple stakeholder inputs, India Agri-PV Alliance (IAA) will directly engage with state and local government(bodies) to advocate policies, facilitate knowledge exchange, and spread awareness to ensure implementation happens on the ground. The Alliance can also act as a conduit for deployment and learnings from Pilot projects, policy research, and research and development projects that can help increase the confidence of farmers' Agri-PV installations and their sustainability.
