NSEFI at Agrivoltaics Farm in Madhya Pradesh

On 29th July, the NSEFI - National Solar Energy Federation of India team visited the largest agrivoltaics site owned by Shri Anand Jain ji in Sagar, Madhya Pradesh. Spanning 16 acres with a capacity of 4 MW, the site stands as a flagship demonstration under Component A of the PM-KUSUM scheme implemented by Khare Energy Private Limited. The objective of the visit was to understand site-level realities, including challenges related to grid connectivity, transmission infrastructure, and the integration of agricultural operations with energy generation. The team also explored several innovative practices being implemented on-site and held constructive discussions with Shri Jain ji on future policy directions and regulatory enablers. Key insights from this field visit will contribute meaningfully to shaping a practical, implementation-ready agrivoltaics policy framework for Madhya Pradesh.
