Role Overview

The Manager (India Agrivoltaics Alliance) will support multi-stakeholder alliance platform focused on agrivoltaics and climate action in India. The role requires strong stakeholder engagement, research aptitude around basics of energy and agriculture sectors, communication, coordination, and execution capabilities to support policy interfacing, ecosystem development, strategic outreach, knowledge dissemination, and programme implementation activities.

The selected candidate will work closely with government stakeholders, industry leaders, implementation partners, research institutions, development organisations, and internal teams to support alliance-led initiatives and sectoral engagements.

Key Responsibilities

1. Research, Policy Analysis & Knowledge Outputs (35%)

• Conduct research and analysis on agrivoltaics (both energy policy and agriculture) and related policy developments

• Track national and state-level policy developments relevant to alliance focus areas

• Support preparation of policy briefs, reports, whitepapers, articles, newsletters, concept notes, and strategic documents

• Develop stakeholder notes, background papers, sectoral insights, and knowledge outputs

• Support development of strategic recommendations and implementation-oriented analysis

2. Stakeholder Engagement & Alliance Coordination (35%)

• Coordinate with ministries, government departments, industry stakeholders, research institutions, financial institutions, DISCOMs, NGOs, and implementation partners

• Support alliance outreach and ecosystem engagement activities

• Facilitate communication, stakeholder follow-ups, and relationship management

• Assist in building partnerships and collaborative engagements across sectors

• Support onboarding, coordination, and engagement of alliance partners and stakeholders

• Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to support smooth execution of activities

3. Programme Support & Execution (15%)

• Support implementation and coordination of ongoing alliance activities and strategic initiatives

• Assist in tracking deliverables, timelines, stakeholder interactions, and outputs

• Support execution of programme activities, consultations, collaborative initiatives, and sectoral engagements

• Coordinate internal workflows, documentation, and activity management processes

4. Convenings, Communications & Strategic Outreach (15%)

• Support planning and execution of roundtables, consultations, workshops, conferences, and ecosystem discussions

• Coordinate with speakers, partners, vendors, and stakeholders for convenings

• Prepare presentations, talking points, meeting summaries, and communication materials

• Contribute to alliance visibility, outreach, and knowledge dissemination activities

• Support development of strategic communication and engagement materials

Educational Background
