The Manager – Policy (NSEFI Green Data Center Coalition) will lead policy and advocacy initiatives for the NSEFI Green Data Center Coalition, working closely with government bodies, industry leaders, and international partners. The role involves shaping policy frameworks that support the development of sustainable, energy-efficient, and renewable energy-powered data centers in India. Location- On-site Level- Experienced
Drive strategy development for national and state-level policy interventions supporting green data centers
Conduct research on regulatory, market, and technology trends in data center energy efficiency, renewable energy adoption, circularity, and digital infrastructure
Lead stakeholder engagement with ministries, regulatory agencies, data center operators, technology providers, and energy stakeholders
Draft policy briefs, reports, white papers, and position documents
Represent the coalition in meetings, roundtables, and industry forums
Coordinate working groups, expert committees, and coalition activities
Contribute to the development of standards, guidelines, and capacity-building programs for sustainable data center development
Support membership growth, partnerships, and visibility of the coalition across platforms
Master’s degree in Public Policy, Energy, Sustainability, Engineering, or related field
Possess relevant experience in policy research, energy, ICT infrastructure, or sustainability
Strong understanding of renewable energy policy frameworks and data center industry ecosystem
Excellent communication, drafting, and stakeholder management skills
Ability to lead projects and work collaboratively in multi-stakeholder environments
