Program, Partnerships & Institutional Relations

The National Solar Energy Federation of India (NSEFI) is an umbrella organization representing solar  energy stakeholders across India. Committed to advancing renewable energy, NSEFI collaborates with  policymakers, industry leaders, and international organizations to promote sustainable energy  solutions. 

Role Overview  

The Intern – Program, Partnerships & Institutional Relations will support the team in planning,  executing, and managing programs, fostering partnerships, and strengthening institutional relations.  This internship offers a unique opportunity to work closely with industry experts, government bodies,  and international organizations in the renewable energy sector. 

Key Responsibilities 

1. Program Management Support  

1. Assist in planning and executing ongoing programs and initiatives, including research and stakeholder  engagement.  

2. Coordinate activities under projects funded by National & International agencies such as the German  Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ), German Cooperation etc. 

3. Maintain and update databases for programs, stakeholders, and members using Excel and other tools.  Prepare detailed reports and analyses based on collected data to support decision-making.
 

2. Partnership Development 

1. Identify potential partners and prepare outreach material to strengthen collaborations.  

2. Facilitate communication with industry stakeholders and member organizations, ensuring effective  engagement.  

3. Institutional Relations 

1. Draft letters, proposals, and presentations for government and institutional stakeholders.  Support in organizing meetings, conferences, and virtual events, ensuring seamless execution.  

2. Communication and Reporting Create content for reports, newsletters, and social media to highlight  program achievements.  

3. Document and maintain detailed records of activities, meetings, and collaborations.  Assist in maintaining databases and tracking deliverables for ongoing projects

Handle logistical tasks for events and meetings as required. 

4. Educational Qualifications 

1. Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Public Policy, Business Administration, Renewable Energy,  Environmental Studies, or a related field. 

5. Skill Set 

1. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite: Advanced knowledge of PowerPoint for creating presentations,  Excel for data management and analysis, and Word for drafting reports.  

2. Ability to prepare detailed, professional reports with an emphasis on accuracy and formatting.  Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, in English.  

3. Strong organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple tasks effectively.
