Position: Policy Intern (Legal)
Number of Vacancies: 1

Roles and Responsibilities:

1. Track regulatory and legal matters at the state and central levels.
2. Assist the team with legal documentation and issues.
3. Prepare detailed minutes of meetings.
4. Analyze regulatory and petition-related matters in the required formats.

Skills Required:

1. Proficiency in data research and data scraping.
2. Excellent oral and written communication skills.
3. Strong analytical and interpersonal skills.
4. Fluency in MS Office tools.
5. Ability to work both independently and in a team setting.
6. A strong learning attitude.
7. Familiarity with the latest Electricity Act is its subsequent amendments is essential. 

Organizational Background:
The National Solar Energy Federation of India (NSEFI) is the primary platform for renewable energy stakeholders in India. NSEFI advocates for policy changes and addresses challenges to promote the growth of solar and other renewable energy sources. Its members include solar developers, manufacturers, and various other industry players working towards India's solar energy targets.

Basic Qualifications:
Undergraduate degree in Policy, Law, or Renewable Energy Law.

Preferred Qualifications:
Master’s degree in Renewable Energy Law, Energy Law, or related fields.

Experience:
Experience in filing petitions, drafting legal memos, and drafting legal documents.
