Position: Policy Intern (Research)

Roles and Responsibilities:

1. Track policy and regulatory developments related to Renewable Energy.
2. Prepare minutes for meetings, workshops, and conferences, and disseminate them appropriately.
3. Develop concise policy briefs in the required formats.
4. Extract and analyze data on renewable energy and conduct market research.

Skills Required:

1. Proficiency in data research and data scraping.
2. Excellent oral and written communication skills.
3. Strong analytical and interpersonal skills.
4. Fluency in MS Office tools.
5. Ability to work both independently and in a team setting.
6. A strong learning attitude.

Organizational Background:
The National Solar Energy Federation of India (NSEFI) is an apex organization representing all stakeholders in India's Renewable Energy sector. NSEFI works collaboratively with the Central and State Governments to address policy matters, aiming to promote the growth of renewable energy in India. Its members include leading solar developers, manufacturers, EPC contractors, rooftop installers, system integrators, SMEs, and more.

Basic Qualifications:
Undergraduate degree in Policy/ Renewable Energy or related fields.

Preferred Qualifications:
Master’s degree in Energy Policy or related fields.

Experience:
Experience in data collation, analysis of schemes, and understanding renewable energy policies is preferable
Basic understanding of the renewable energy policy & regulations (Familiar with workings of  MNRE, MOP, CTUIL, CERC, SERC, etc)
