4th National Agro-RE Summit
The 4th National Agro-RE Summit was organized by NSEFI and IAA on 10th March 2026. Farmers from different states of the country participated in the conference and a special interactive session was organized with the farmers, in which fruitful discussions were held on the synergy of agriculture and renewable energy. Shri Pralhad Joshi, Hon'ble Union Minister of New and Renewable Energy and Shri Shripad Yesso Naik, Hon'ble Minister of State (Ministry of Power and New and Renewable Energy) graced the occasion. The farmers had the opportunity to interact directly with the Hon'ble Ministers, in which they shared their experiences and views. During the interaction, the increased use of clean energy in the agriculture sector, opportunities to farmers through the Pradhan Mantri Kusum Yojana and innovations like agrivoltaics were discussed in detail. Important reports related to agrivoltaics were also released, which is an important initiative towards enhancing farmers' income and promoting sustainable development through synergy of agriculture and energy.
