Catalyst Connect Dialogue 3: Virtual Power Purchase Agreements
NSEFI - National Solar Energy Federation of India successfully hosted the third edition of Catalyst Connect on 6th August 2025, a high-level closed-door dialogue powered by ENGIE India, focused on “Virtual Power Purchase Agreements: Accelerating India’s Industrial Renewable Energy Procurement.” The session convened key stakeholders including industry leaders, large energy consumers, policymakers, financiers, and legal experts to discuss how VPPAs can enable corporate decarbonization and contribute to achieving India’s 500 GW non-fossil fuel target. As India moves rapidly toward a low-carbon future, VPPAs are proving to be a transformative tool in driving demand-led clean energy adoption.
