Madhya Pradesh State Level Consultation Workshop on Agrivoltaics
NSEFI - National Solar Energy Federation of India organised the Madhya Pradesh State Level Consultation Workshop on Agrivoltaics on 28th July, with knowledge partners Shakti Sustainable Energy Foundation and India Agrivoltaics Alliance (IAA). The workshop brought together DISCOM officials, agricultural universities, financial institutions, developers, FPOs, civil society organisations, and policy think tanks to deliberate on scalable agrivoltaics models under PM-KUSUM Component A. The key discussions focused on regulatory and legal frameworks, crops compatibility, land use norms, off-taker models, and financing mechanisms anchored in field-level learnings from Tikamgarh and Sagar Agrivoltaic sites. The session concluded with a consensus-driven policy roadmap for advancing agrivoltaics in Madhya Pradesh.
