National Agro-RE Summit
The National Agro Renewable Energy Summit 2025, graced by Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan, Hon’ble Minister of Agriculture & Farmers’ Welfare, emphasized integrating renewable energy into India’s agricultural framework to drive Viksit Bharat. With a focus on decentralised solar, agrivoltaics, and bioenergy, the Summit highlighted their potential to boost farmer incomes, reduce DISCOM subsidies, and enhance climate resilience. Leaders from MNRE, NISE, and NSEFI called for policy clarity, innovative financing, and institutional convergence to scale PM-KUSUM 2.0, positioning India as both a Krishi-Pradhan and Surya-Pradhan nation.
