2nd Artificial Intelligence in Renewable Energy Summit
The 2nd Artificial Intelligence in Renewable Energy Summit, held on 20 January 2026 at The Oberoi, New Delhi, brought together senior policymakers, industry leaders, technology experts, and global stakeholders to explore the transformative role of AI across India’s renewable energy ecosystem. As the official pre-summit event to the India AI Impact Summit 2026, the summit featured high-level inaugural addresses from the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy, Central Electricity Authority, National Institute of Solar Energy, and international representatives, setting the policy and strategic context for AI-led energy transition. Through three focused panel discussions, the summit examined AI-driven grid intelligence and system flexibility, AI applications in renewable energy planning and operations & maintenance, and the emerging landscape of renewable-powered AI infrastructure and green data centres in India. The discussions highlighted the need for scalable digital solutions, cross-sector collaboration, and policy alignment to enhance grid resilience, improve asset performance, and sustainably power India’s growing digital economy
