Roadmap for PV Waste Management in India

We are glad to inform you that we are progressing well with the development of the roadmap for the PV waste management in India, despite the challenging situation due to the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic. M February 2020, as a part of this study, the team developed the "Scenarios of the waste generation till 2030". Presently, we are in the midst of identifying a set of recommendations on which the end-of-life management policies could be applicable in the Indian context. Through this study we are analysing the solar PV market and its business environment, the waste legislative framework and practices in the European Union and India. We are also in the process of examining the economics of collection and treatment, mapping the roles and responsibilities and ultimately determining a recycling fee for each photovoltaic panel that will be sold in India.
