Catalyst Connect Dialogue 2
NSEFI successfully hosted Catalyst Connect Dialogue 2 – Transforming Transmission for Transition: Resolving Transmission Bottlenecks for India’s 2030 RE Vision, powered by ENGIE India. The focused dialogue Chaired by NSEFI Principal Advisor Shri PC Garg, convened senior stakeholders from government including Shri Sarit Maheshwari CEO NTPC Green, Shri Ashok Pal, COO, CTU along with industry, and technical institutions to deliberate on India’s most pressing renewable energy enabler - a robust, future-ready transmission network. The discussions centered around resolving key challenges such as infrastructure delays, grid congestion, land acquisition hurdles, and regulatory bottlenecks, with an emphasis on streamlining transmission planning and accelerating project implementation. The session aimed to identify actionable solutions that will support India's target of achieving 500 GW of non-fossil fuel capacity by 2030, ensuring seamless integration and evacuation of renewable power across the nation.
