NSEFI Green Data Centre Coalition Inception Meeting
The NSEFI Green Data Centre Coalition held its inception meeting in New Delhi, bringing together key industry representatives to strategize the integration of renewable energy into data centre operations in India. The coalition, led by Vikram Sridharan (AWS) and Sharad Agarwal (Sify Technologies), aims to accelerate the transition toward sustainable and low-carbon data centres.
Discussions focused on leveraging India’s abundant renewable energy potential to support the data centre industry's growth. The coalition will soon release policy recommendations for key central ministries and engage with states promoting data centre development.
