Renewable Energy, Energy Transition, & Advanced Manufacturing Workshop
NSEFI, along with Murdoch University, Australia, organized a Renewable Energy, Energy Transition, & Advanced Manufacturing Workshop in New Delhi as part of the Maitri Research Grant initiative to foster collaboration between Australian and Indian industries and R&D Institutions. The main aim of the workshop was to encourage knowledge exchange between industry leaders, researchers, and policymakers to strengthen the Australia-India business relationship and create networking opportunities for companies interested in industrial collaboration, technology transfer, and investment. Stakeholders highlighted India’s ambitious renewable energy targets and Australia's expertise in battery storage and raw material extraction. The sessions included a discussion on exploring opportunities for strategic collaboration between India and Australia. The workshop underscored the need for continuous dialogue and collaborative action to address challenges in renewable energy, especially in the face of recent trade tariffs and global supply chain disruptions.
