India as a Global Green Data Center Hub
On 23 September, on the sidelines of New York Climate Week, the NSEFI Green Data Center Coalition, under the aegis of NSEFI - National Solar Energy Federation of India, convened a roundtable on "India as a Global Green Data Center Hub” NSEFI was privileged to take India's clean energy story to international forums before. This roundtable was a chance to connect two of India's defining transformations: a clean energy transition that has crossed 300 GW of non-fossil capacity, and a digital economy with over a billion internet users that generates nearly 20% of the world's data while hosting only around 3% of global data centre capacity.
