Curtain Raiser of the 7th Agrivoltaics World Conference 2026
The Curtain Raiser of the 7th Agrivoltaics World Conference 2026 hosted by Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE) & The Federal Ministry for the Environment, Climate Action, Nature Conservation and Nuclear Safety and co-organised by NSEFI - National Solar Energy Federation of India & India Agrivoltaics Alliance (IAA) in New Delhi marked an important milestone for India’s growing agrivoltaics ecosystem. The event brought together key stakeholders, with Hon’ble Union Minister Shri Pralhad Joshi ji, Minister of Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution, New and Renewable Energy & Education sharing Special Remarks and Indo-German Cooperation on Agrivoltaics (IGCA) continuing to strengthen international collaboration in the sector. A key highlight was the launch of NSEFI’s Agrivoltaics Pitch Hub - a platform to bring forward innovative ideas and solutions at the intersection of food, energy and land, alongside the NSEFI Knowledge Document on Agrivoltaics in India. The Curtain Raiser also unveiled the Conference Agenda, IGCA Calls and Winter School, setting the stage for the upcoming global conference.
