1st National Roundtable on Floating Solar PV in India
NSEFI - National Solar Energy Federation of India convened the 1st National Roundtable on Floating Solar PV in India on 8 September 2026 bringing together policymakers, regulators, industry leaders, utilities, financiers, researchers and other ecosystem stakeholders. With India’s estimated floating solar potential of 206 GW against approximately 700 MW of commissioned capacity, the roundtable focused on identifying the policy, regulatory and technical interventions required to accelerate deployment at scale. The roundtable provided a platform for evidence-based dialogue and cross-sector consultation, with participants sharing implementation experiences and policy perspectives to help identify practical, scalable and consensus-driven solutions.
