About the Event

The National Conference on Skill Development for Renewable Energy Workforce by the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE) organized in collaboration with the National Solar Energy Federation of India (NSEFI). The conference aims to strengthen India’s renewable energy talent ecosystem by fostering dialogue between government, industry, and training institutions on scalable, inclusive, and industry-aligned skilling strategies.

This high-level convening will bring together policymakers, corporate leaders, HR heads, state officials, and skilling experts to deliberate on practical solutions for expanding workforce capacity across key areas such as solar, wind, battery storage, and green hydrogen. The focus will be on promoting industry-driven training models, advancing gender-inclusive entrepreneurship, and improving Centre-State coordination for decentralised skilling.

With dedicated sessions on sustainability of skilling, inclusive hiring and retention, and alignment of training infrastructure, the conference sets the stage for collaborative action to equip India’s workforce for a just and resilient energy transition.
