Request to standardize specifications for manufacturing, testing and procurement of LED based Bird Flight Diverters

NSEFI requested CEA for Standardization of bird diverters used in the state of Rajasthan, with standardization of Battery type, no. of LED circuits per BFD and nos. of minimum LEDs per BFD; the minimum intensity of LED; the position of PV solar cell in BFD; minimum number of PV solar cells in each BFD; minimum Flash rate (flashes per minute); duty cycle of each flash; test procedures for LED, PV solar panel and Battery to facilitate the much-needed standardization for manufacturing and testing of LED-based BFDs and ease the process of procurement.Read More
